Sa Die de Sa Sardinia is a day of freedom, fraternity and festivity. It commemorates the insurrection that freed the island from Piemonte domination in 1794. This special day means not only remembering the past but also getting together with family, friends, Sardinians and lovers of Sardinia.

Local foodies!! Do not miss the opportunity to feast on some really superb Sardinian cuisines along with highly regarded Sardinian wines imported directly from private wine bodegas directly from the island.

Come enjoy an afternoon and evening that promises to be packed with fun, merriment, music, and, of course, wine and cuisine!!

Guests can enjoy the celebration in the enchanting outdoor courtyard of Kitchen Lab, our place in Downtown Miami decorated with traditional colors, animated, and presented by our special Sardinian guests. With the exclusive participation of a Sardinian cantinas presenting their wines from the island.

Antipasto di benvenuto (welcome appetizers)

-Mousse di ricotta, bottarga e carciofi
(Ricotta mousse, bottarga and artichokes)

-Pane carasau
(typical sardinian flat bread)

Antipasti (appetizer)

-Polpo e patate alla scabecciu
(octopus and scabecciu potatoes)

-Zuppetta di cozze, straciatella e pomodoro fresco
(mussels soup, straciattella and fresh tomatoes)

Primi (main course)

-Malloreddus alla campidanese
(sardinian gnocchi with ragu campidanese)

-Fregula ai frutti di mare
(sardinian pasta ”risotto style” with sea food)

Secondi (second course)

-Muggine arrosto, crema di patate e cipolle agrodolci
(roasted grey mullet, cream of potatoes and sweet and sour onions)

-Maialetto arrosto con pinzimonio di verdure
(typical roasted pork with vegetables pinzimonio)

Dolci (dessert)

-Seadas con miele e arancia
(jambo ravioli filled with pecorino cheese, honey and orange)
